About Your Journey

• Weeks 1 to 4 – Creating Your Pieces
  The first four classes are dedicated entirely to creation. This is where your imagination comes to life.
  With expert guidance and full access to all studio tools and materials, you will design and build
  your own ceramic pieces at your own pace. You will be encouraged to explore ideas,
  experiment with forms, and develop your personal style, while always being supported throughout the process.
  Once all pieces are completed, they will go through their first firing, preparing them to be ready
  for underglazing in week five.


• Week 5 – Colour & Surface Design
  In week five, you will focus on adding colour and personality to your creations.
  You will learn how to apply underglazes and decorative techniques, with access to more than 20 underglaze
  colours to enhance your work and bring your designs to life.


• Week 6 – Glazing & Finishing
  The final class is dedicated to glazing. You will learn how to glaze your pieces properly, understand glaze application
  and achieve functional and beautiful finishes. Our studio offers a curated range of glazes and you will be fully guided
  through the entire glazing process.
  Once glazing is complete, your pieces will be ready for their final firing, transforming them into finished
  and durable ceramics ready to use or display.


• We maintain small class sizes to ensure each participant receives personal attention and guidance throughout the course.
  Everything you need is provided, including aprons, clay, tools, underglazes, glazes and full step-by-step support.
  A small additional fee of £8 per kilo applies for firing of your pieces.
